Happy Holidays to My Fellow Business Owners and Entrepreneurs

December 23, 2019 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

Yule Tree
My Yule Tree

This is a ridiculously short blog post to wish you a very happy holiday season, whatever you celebrate. I hope you get to spend it surrounded by those you love.

If you prefer, I hope you get to spend it cuddled up in a bunch of blankets, with your pets (if you have them) and enjoy a cup of the hot beverage of your choice while watching silly holiday movies, if that’s your thing. I know the original Die Hard is very popular this time of year. My personal favorite holiday movie is Hogfather by Terry Pratchett.

I personally have the majority of my mother’s side of the family visiting at the moment, which is absolutely wonderful as far as I am concerned. We’re all having a blast and it’s good to get together as we haven’t all seen each other in quite a while.

May your holidays bring the joy and happiness you want from them.

Good Yule, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Festivus, and all the other holidays I’m sure I’ve missed in here.

Talk to you next week.

How the Final Stage in the Buyer’s Journey is Crucial to Marketing Your Business

December 16, 2019 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

Achieving victory in the marketing buyer's journey

When last we left our hero, you were continuing to act as their mentor by giving them further guidance to complete their journey and reach their goals.

This stage of the buyer’s journey matters to your marketing, but most of the marketing buyer’s journey guides don’t pay a lot of attention to it.

This is the stage where your hero emerges victorious and returns to their community with their treasure.

That treasure is the success they’ve achieved with your help.

Your Buyer’s Journey Content Needs to Keep Them Moving Forward

December 9, 2019 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

The buyer's journey content is what drives your customer to reach their transformation.

Last week I mentioned that some of your customers will buy your product or service, but never use it. This is a serious problem for you and for them. You want them to complete their buyer’s journey and reach their goal of success in solving their problem and achieve the transformation they’re looking for in their lives.

A simple way to do that is through your content.

Creating buyer’s journey content is important at every stage, but particularly in this stage, where your customer has purchased, but hasn’t necessarily started using your product or service yet.

Helping Your Hero Find the Most Awareness Stage of the Buyer’s Journey

December 2, 2019 by Tanya Brody Leave a Comment

Okay, your hero has discovered they have a problem and have launched themselves on an epic journey to find a solution.

They’ve met their mentor (you) who has given them a gift to help them get a small, quick win along the way.

You’ve urged them to move forward in their buyer’s journey, guiding them through emails that give them more information about how to solve their problem.

Your hero has reached the awareness stage of the buyer’s journey, where they know what is wrong and see that there are available solutions (your products and services.)

Now, your hero needs to put the ideal solution to their problem in their sights and get ready let go of their feelings and fire… I mean buy your product or service.

Yes, that was a Star Wars reference and yes, that is a lot of links. That’s what happens when I write a blog post series.
